Editorial policy & standards
These standards govern everything Worldys News publishes. They exist to protect one thing: your trust.
Sourcing
We build each story from multiple independent, reputable sources. Articles display the sources they draw on. We attribute claims, quotes, and figures to their origin. We do not present a single source's reporting as our own original investigation.
Accuracy and verification
Figures, dates, and quotations are reproduced as reported by our sources, not invented or estimated. When sources disagree on a fact, we attribute both positions rather than choosing silently. Numbers are used verbatim or omitted — never "smoothed." Direct quotes are used only when they appear in the source material and are attributed to the correct speaker.
Originality
Our articles are original syntheses. We do not copy sentences verbatim from sources. Headlines, structure, summaries, and context are our own. Every indexable page is written to provide genuine, human-perceivable value.
Independence and conflicts of interest
Editorial decisions are made independently of advertisers and commercial partners. Advertising is clearly distinguished from editorial content. We do not accept payment to publish or alter coverage.
Use of AI
We use AI tools under human editorial oversight. See our AI use disclosure for specifics. AI assists; editors and these standards decide.
Corrections
We correct errors promptly and transparently. See our corrections policy.
