Jana Hospodárová: Móda, zvieratá a diéta – ako vyzerá jej život?
Slovak TV Host Jana Hospodárová Balances Career, Animal Sanctuary, and Wellness
Bratislava – For Jana Hospodárová, a familiar face on Slovak television, a love for animals isn’t a hobby – it’s a way of life. The popular host’s home is a bustling haven for a menagerie of creatures, a reality her partner, Ľuboš, has wholeheartedly embraced.
Hospodárová’s passion shines through when discussing her furry, feathered, and scaled companions. “It’s enormous,” she says, describing her affection. While she cherishes each animal equally, she admits a particular fondness for cats. “I have to confess, I lean towards cats the most, but I couldn’t say which of my own I love the most.”
From Runway to Rescue: Hospodárová’s Support for Animal Welfare
This deep connection to animals recently led Hospodárová to participate as a judge in the “Labky na móle” (Paws on the Runway) fashion show, held at the Eurovea shopping center. Alongside Zora Czoborová and Jozef Oklamčák, she helped celebrate the bond between humans and their animal companions.
Her home, she jokes, is becoming a “mini safari,” populated by dogs, cats, birds, and fish. The gradual expansion of her animal family has been a carefully managed process with Ľuboš. “I introduced it gradually. When we first met, I had a dog and two cats. Then came the birds, the fish, and more cats… well, what can you do?” she laughs. Thankfully, Ľuboš has adapted with grace.
Celebrating Five Years and Prioritizing Wellbeing
Beyond her animal advocacy, Hospodárová and Ľuboš recently marked a personal milestone: their fifth anniversary. The couple celebrated with a playful indulgence after a period of disciplined eating. “We celebrated in a special way – we went on a box diet, and then on our anniversary, we treated ourselves to absolutely everything! Wine, a second dinner, cake… we were happy,” she shares.
The “box diet,” a pre-portioned meal plan, wasn’t about weight loss, but rather a commitment to healthy eating amidst a hectic lifestyle. “Everyone needs it. It’s a varied, balanced diet, and in our chaotic lives, we don’t always manage to eat well,” Hospodárová explains.
Navigating Diet Trends: Hospodárová’s Perspective
The conversation naturally turned to the current buzz surrounding Ozempic, a medication used for weight management. Hospodárová remained tight-lipped about whether she would consider the trend, promising to share her thoughts in a future interview.
Hospodárová’s openness about her life, from her animal-filled home to her wellness journey, resonates with fans. Her story highlights the importance of balancing a demanding career with personal passions and prioritizing overall wellbeing – a message that clearly strikes a chord with the public.
The growing popularity of pet ownership in Slovakia reflects a broader European trend, with approximately 40% of households owning at least one pet, according to a 2023 report by the Slovak Statistical Office. This underscores the increasing recognition of the positive impact animals have on mental and emotional health.
