Submission & Contributor Guidelines
This Submission & Contributor Guidelines page defines the standards and conditions under which external writers, experts, and freelance contributors may submit work to Worldys News. All submissions are reviewed under the same editorial and ethical expectations that apply to staff reporting.
1. Who May Submit
Worldys News accepts contributions from:
- Freelance journalists and professional reporters
- Subject-matter experts contributing verified analysis
- Researchers and academics submitting evidence-grounded commentary
- First-hand witnesses to newsworthy events (with verifiable context)
We do not accept promotional articles, undisclosed advocacy, or ghost-written PR material.
2. Standards for All Submissions
Submitted work must:
- Be factual, original, and not previously published elsewhere
- Comply with our Editorial Guidelines & Ethics Policy
- Contain verifiable sourcing or documentation when making claims
- Avoid defamation, unverified allegations, or manipulative framing
- Disclose conflicts of interest, affiliations, or financial ties
3. Ownership & Rights
By submitting content to Worldys News, contributors transfer full rights and permissions to publish, edit, archive, and redistribute the material. Accepted content becomes the editorial property of Worldys News and may not be republished elsewhere without written permission. See Reprints & Republishing Policy for reuse terms.
4. Editorial Control
All submissions are subject to fact-checking, editing, rewriting, headline changes, or rejection without obligation to provide justification. Publication is never guaranteed. We reserve the right to withhold or amend content to meet our standards or legal obligations.
5. Compensation
At this stage, Worldys News does not offer monetary compensation for external contributions. If a paid contributor program is introduced in the future, terms will be added to this page before implementation.
6. How to Submit
Send submissions or proposals to:

- Full name and professional background
- Proposed headline and one-sentence summary
- Full draft or detailed pitch
- Source list or supporting documentation (when relevant)
7. Ethical and Legal Compliance
Submissions must not contain material that violates copyright, confidentiality, or active legal restrictions. Contributors are responsible for ensuring their submissions do not infringe on third-party rights. False submissions or fraud may result in permanent ban.
8. Withdrawal or Revision Requests
Once published, contributor pieces may not be withdrawn except under conditions defined in the Legal Request & Takedown Policy or when a factual error triggers action under the Corrections & Updates Policy.
